Strictly star confirmed for Loose Men debut
Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks will make his debut on Loose Women spin-off, Loose Men next week.
The star, who reached the semi-finals of the BBC series alongside Jowita Przystal last year, has been confirmed for the latest edition of the special ITV show, which sees a panel discuss “the topics that matter and tackle taboos around men talking about their mental and physical health".
Wicks, who has also appeared on The Only Way is Essex and Celebs Go Dating, will be joined by I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Voice UK star Danny Jones, with the duo appearing alongside Craig Doyle and Jordan Banjo.

Doyle, who hosted the most recent episode of Loose Women, declared in a promotional video for the episode - which airs on February 5 - that he had the “perfect team”, before describing Wicks as a “man with a plan” who had a “heart of gold”.
“We’re delighted Danny and Pete will join Craig and Jordan for this episode, continuing Loose Men’s mission to kickstart the important conversations that will make a difference to those watching,” said Loose Women editor Sally Shelford of the cast for the special.
“Our panellists never shy away from the big issues and this episode is no exception, with some of the most important and honest discussions to date - and of course, some surprises, cheeky chat and lunchtime laughs throughout too!”

Whilst Wicks will soon make his debut on Loose Men, the reality star recently fronted his own documentary, For Dog’s Sake, in which he collaborated with Dogs Trust in Basildon to “rescue and rehabilitate” vulnerable dogs.
“[It’s] very exciting – I spent four years trying to do this,” said Wicks in a teaser for the show. “It’s an absolute passion project. It’s a wonderful show, full of heartbreak but full of happiness. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions with some wonderful dogs and people.”
Loose Men airs on ITV1 and ITVX on February 5 at 12.30pm.
