Strictly star Gorka Marquez finally gets to dance Charleston in kilt for Dr Punam
Glasgow's own Strictly Come Dancing star Dr Punam Krishan was delighted to reveal that even though they didn't make it to Blackpool, partner Gorka Marquez still got to dance the Charleston in a kilt.
After the disappointment of losing out in the Halloween special, the 41-year-old delighted fans by taking to Instagram to show Gorka sporting a full kilt, and the professional dancer was only too happy to finally perform his dance.
Sharing the fun clip, Dr Punam posted: "Presenting Mr Gorka McMárquez. He promised he’d dance the Charleston in a kilt if we got to Blackpool and whilst sadly we didn’t make it there, I did manage to capture him living his best kilt life in Glasgow a few weeks ago.

"I’ve had the best time with Gorka on Strictly and made memories for a lifetime. I am always grateful to those who teach me new things, new skills, new ways of being - Gorka did that and some! From dancing to life lessons - a rollercoaster it was however my fondest memories will always be the laughs and bants we had (as well as the comfort coffee & croissant breaks)."
She then thanked Gorka once again for '"believing in her" and for "helping her grow", adding: "Whilst our dancing journey may have come to an end, I know I’ve found a friend in you and I’m grateful to @bbcstrictly for bringing us together. Hope you get to do that Charleston in a kilt someday - it would be epic to watch."
