Strictly star Laila Rouass caught up in Barcelona terror attack
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Laila Rouass has told how she was caught up "in the middle" of the Barcelona terror attack, hiding in a restaurant freezer while gunshots rang out around her.
In Barcelona's Las Ramblas area last night (August 17), a van drove into crowds, killing 13 people and injuring 80 more.
The former Holby City actress and partner of snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan, Laila live-tweeted from the scene, saying: "In the middle of the attack. Hiding in a restaurant freezer. Happened so fast. Praying for the safety of everyone here."

The Foreign Office has issued advice to tourists to "stay inside and away from Las Ramblas" and wait for police to say it is safe to move.

The 46-year-old, who starred in Footballers' Wives from 2004-2006 and played Sahira Shah in Holby City for a year from 2011, later added: "Thank you to the staff at the restaurant for staying calm and keeping us safe.

One man has been arrested in connection with the attack while two other suspects were killed in a shootout with police.
According to Catalan police and local officials, the incident is being treated as a terror attack.
