Strictly star Nick Knowles offers unfortunate update on return for 2024 final
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Nick Knowles has shared a disappointing update with fans.
The TV presenter underwent an operation to reattach his bicep early this month after he was injured during rehearsals for Strictly.
He told fans after the surgery: "Just woken up from my op and all went well by all accounts. I have a re-attached bicep now. Bit of physio over the next two or three months and all should be right as rain and back to 100%, I think."

Along with the bicep injury, Nick also suffered a knee injury and is now waiting for another operation, which may keep him away from the dancefloor for longer.
On X (formerly Twitter) earlier this week a fan asked Nick: "Will you still be able to do the end of series dance in the final? Wouldn't seem right you not being there."
To which Nick replied: "I'm not sure my injuries will allow – I have to wait for the knee operation until the bicep operation has healed so I can use crutches afterwards".
"So I don’t think recovery will be in time sadly."
This year's Strictly Come Dancing final is set for December 14.
While Nick probably won't be making the Strictly final he does have a very important dance in his future.

His pro partner Luba Mushtuk revealed earlier this month that she's going to be choreographing Nick's first dance at his wedding next year.
"He really wanted to do an Argentine Tango [on the show]. From the moment we met, he said, 'My dream is to do Argentine Tango,'" she said.
"So, it's a promise from me. I'm doing it for him and his fiancée Katie [Dadzie]. I will choreograph it and they will have their dance."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
