In case you didn't know, the first live show of Strictly Come Dancing 2017 is airing this weekend with a whole new host of celebrities slipping on the sequins.

And last year's winner Ore Oduba is set to make a sensational return to the ballroom floor as a Strictly host.

Okay, okay, so he won't be joining Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman presenting the show but Ore will be hosting the Strictly Come Dancing live UK tour as it twirls its way around the country from January 2018.

The 31-year-old has also been named as the presenter of the first ever Strictly Come Dancing Official Podcast, accompanying the current BBC One series to give viewers a taste of all the backstage gossip and ballroom goings-on.

And best of all, it's 100% free.

In a statement, Ore said: "Winning Strictly was the most unforgettable experience and a dream come true.

"I'm so thrilled that I get to keep that dream alive and take part in the Strictly live tour once again, this time as host.

"This show and its fans will always hold a special place in my heart so I can't wait to travel the UK again and meet the fantastic audiences that make Strictly the phenomenon we know and love."

He added: "And to host the podcast means not only do I get to stay part of the Strictly family this year, but we can bring the fans with us every sequinned step of the way."

The 2018 tour will see Ore joined by long-time Strictly judges Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli, alongside many of the celebrities and professionals from the upcoming series.

Opening in Birmingham and ending at London's O2 Arena, the 30-show tour will visit the likes of Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and Glasgow, and – following huge public demand – will make its return to Belfast.

The Strictly Come Dancing live UK tour begins on January 19, 2018 at the Birmingham Arena.
