Strictly's AJ Odudu 'made no secret' of wanting Big Brother hosting job
Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu has discussed the rumours she's set to host Big Brother.
The iconic reality series is being revived by ITV, following five years off air. AJ previously hosted spin-off Bit on the Side alongside Rylan Clark in 2013, and is now rumoured for the top job.
Discussing the claims, she said to HuffPost: "I feel like the Big Brother stans are really out in full force – it’s incredible!

"I’m taking it all with a pinch of salt. It’s all fun.
"Obviously, I’ve made no secret about how I would love to be considered to host such an iconic comeback, but who knows? You’ll just have to wait and see.
"It’s nice that everyone is excited that the show is coming back, because I’m excited even from a viewer’s perspective – this is what I’ve been missing on my TV and I cannot wait for it to come back!"
It's not the first time that AJ has addressed the speculation.
Late last year, the star neither confirmed nor denied the reports, but added she would be incredibly "excited" to present the revival if it happened.
Emma Willis, who hosted the show from 2013 to 2018 and has ruled herself out of a return, previously told RadioTimes she'd love AJ to take over, saying she'd be "phenomenal".

"I know how much she loves it, I know how brilliant she is at live TV," she said.
"You need somebody who can handle that situation, but you really need somebody that loves that show and genuinely wants to talk about it, is invested in it and wants to watch it every night for months on end. I know she does."
Big Brother will air on ITV2 and ITVX in 2023.
