“I am delighted to be joining the Loose Men panel for the first time,” said Du Beke of his new venture. “It’s good to talk and what better time to do so than during Mental Health Awareness Week!”

“I’ve absolutely loved being a guest on Loose Women over the years and now can't wait for the chance to join Vernon, Anton and Jordan on the panel,” added Swash.

“We all know how important it is to talk but also, how important it is to see other people opening up on these things, so bring it on Loose Men.”

Banjo, who has appeared on the panel previously, said: “I always have a wicked time on Loose Men, and it’s an opportunity to spread the positive message that men need to talk, too!

“Last time I was on, we won a RTS Award – which to me is obviously a massive honour but also encouragement that shows like this are needed and really are doing something positive. So, I can’t wait to be back on with the rest of the guys.”

Kay, who is married to Strictly host Tess Daly, said: “I’m delighted to be back hosting another Loose Men special. We get such a great reaction every time we do one and with it being Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s great to provide a forum for men to have an open conversation about their mental health and remind us all that it’s good to talk.”

Loose Men will air on Friday, May 17, at 12.30pm on ITV1.
