Strictly Come Dancing's Bruno Tonioli is turning his hand to an exciting new career project, as it's been announced he's working on his own music.

The Strictly judge showed off his vocal skills during last year's series and reportedly music industry bosses were so impressed, they approached Bruno about recording a 'Las Vegas-style, Donna Summer-inspired' album.

"We’re discussing it, but I’m not going to rush because it has to be done right," he told the Mirror.

"We’re working on it but it has to be good," he continued.

Bruno went on to say that he's looking to record new material, not just covers, and he hopes to be able to release snippets of his work this year.

He described the sound he's aiming for as "anthemic disco-type songs, very uplifting, where everybody can dance.

"A bit like Donna Summer - like Last Dance but done with my voice and given a contemporary twist.

"I think it’s time for a little bit of uplifting stuff," he said.

We know Bruno can sing given his impressive performance of Can't Take My Eyes Off You during the 2019 season of Strictly. We'll have to wait and see what the future holds for his music career.

It's expected he'll be returning to judge this year's Strictly Come Dancing along with Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood.
