Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel-Horwood in hot water on BBC show over Sarah Hadland remark
Craig Revel-Horwood has found himself in hot water with irate Strictly Come Dancing viewers, who were left seething with him for telling Sarah Hadland her performance on Saturday night was 'too perfect,' as he was the only judge not to give a 10.
Still second favourite to win Strictly this year in the latest odds, behind Chris McCausland,. Miranda star Sarah is a huge fan favourite and she ands pro partner Vito Coppola, who won last year with Ellie Leach, have delivered some fantastic performances so far, including their much talked about Halloween Argentine Tango, which earned them 37 out of 40.
And on Saturday night, the popular couple went even better by getting 39 for their Couple's Choice to Kylie Minogue's Padam Padam. However, it could have been better had notoriously hard to please judge Craig been swayed to finally dust off his 10 paddle, rather than giving a 9 and telling Sarah that her Fosse inspired performance was 'a bit too perfect,' as he added: "I know that sounds weird, but it just lacked a certain type of attitude."

The remark, during Strictly's Blackpool special, prompted boos from inside the Tower Ballroom as Sarah playfully retaliated: "Craig, I know you did a dance to Padam as well, so I hope there isn't any rivalry!" A startled Motsi Mabuse, sitting next to Craig, responded: "Wow, I've heard it all, but 'too perfect' is new. We used to celebrate too perfect!"
Like Motsi, viewers watching at home couldn't believe the word that came out of Craig's mouth, with one taking to X to fume: "Did Sarah and Vito really just get marked down for being “too perfect”…… you have GOT to be kidding" as a second reacted: "I don’t think I’ve even been angrier with #Strictly, than Craig just telling Sarah she’s “too perfect”?! WTF"
