Strictly's Dan Walker falls off bike before completing charity cycle
Strictly Come Dancing's Dan Walker just completed a major bike ride for charity, but had a little bit of a fall along the way.
The newsreader took part in a coast to coast cycle across the North of England over the last week days, pedalling 200 miles in 48 hours to raise money for the Make Some Noise charity, operated by Capital FM (where Dan hosts a show) and its parent company, Global.
In a promo video on Classic FM's Instagram, Dan was about to set off, full of confidence, before complaining of cramp and falling over on the spot. The video edit plays it for laughs, playing Mozart's jolly 'Le Nozze di Figaro, K 492 Overture' over the clip.

The video also showcased him arriving in Sheffield at the end of his first night, and he explained that while it had been tough, the thought of doing it for a worldwide cause kept him going.
He successfully completed his 200 miles cycle yesterday, following a dicey stretch across the Pennines during which he was worried that his body was failing him, and raised over £95,000.

As he arrived in Liverpool and was greeted by the Choir with No Name, Dan said (via On the Radio): "It feels painful but also exhilarating to have done it.
"The longest I've ever been on a bike in my life is an hour. I committed to doing it. I knew it was going to be difficult, and the whole time, I just had in my mind the people that we are raising money for.
"I'm in unbelievable pain at the minute, but I've enjoyed doing it. I could lie down on the floor and just fall asleep!"
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
