Strictly Come Dancing couple Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg are resolutely not expecting a baby anytime soon. Sorry to burst your bubble there, folks.

The couple had fans excitedly speculating this week when they teased that they had a big new project, going by the name '#ProjectJoanne', to announce to their fans, with both Joe and Dianne teasing that it was something "big and exciting".

And because this is the internet, some of the couple's fans quickly speculated that #ProjectJoanne could be the news that the couple was going to announce that they were expecting a baby.

Well, that was one thread of speculation that Dianne quickly shut down on her Instagram stories, sharing one of her followers' comments about her possibly being pregnant and adding (via The Mirror): "I can assure you all that #projectjoanne is not a baby."

So, that's that one settled then.

The couple met on last year's series of Strictly Come Dancing when they were partnered up and danced their way through to the final. Although Joe and Dianne didn't win the Glitterball trophy in the end, the couple did confirm their romance shortly afterwards with a loved-up Instagram post.

"I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special," Joe captioned a picture of the two of them.

Earlier this year, Joe also called doing Strictly the "best decision" of his life, admitting that he was "so nervous" to do it but was ultimately glad he took the plunge.

"I said if there was ever one I would do, it would be Strictly, because it's such a feel-good show, a big family show, it's the most watched one as well, which is a big, big commitment and a big step to do," he said.

"I had a go, and it turned out to be the best decision of my life, which was good!"

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year.
