Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell has shared a video showcasing her dancing blindfolded with celebrity partner Chris McCausland.

Comedian Chris is the show's first ever blind contestant, and in the video Dianne explained that he had challenged her to dance without being able to see so she could understand what it is like for him.

The duo did their Cha Cha to The Beatles' 'Twist and Shout' from last week's show, and they pulled it off really well, minus a few missed hands, them losing each other's position, and Dianne bumping into a wall.

They took it all in their stride, however, and were unable to stop laughing. At the end of the routine, Dianne called the experience "incredible".

On last night's (September 25) It Takes Two, Dianne explained how she has adjusted her training to accommodate Chris' blindness.

"It's obviously very different. We use a lot of feel, don't we?" she said. "I'll be like, 'Get down on your knees, and feel my legs'. It is a different way of teaching. He uses the sounds very, very well."

"We're muddling our way through it," Chris joked, to which Dianne replied: "But it's working! We're finding the touch and feel, and the sounds are working really well."

The songs and dances for the second week of the competition have been announced, with Dianne and Chris taking on the Foxtrot.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
