Strictly Come Dancing's Fleur East is "worried" about performing the rumba on Saturday's (November 26) show.

Speaking to the Radio Times, the former X Factor star said that it's hard to get away with any mistakes due to the "slow and controlled" nature of the dance.

When asked whether she was worried about performing the rumba with professional partner Vito Coppola this weekend, Fleur said: "I'm always worried because there's so many different technical elements to each dance and they're very specific as well.

"This dance has so many details and because it's a rumba, it's slow and controlled so you can see every part of it as well, so you can't really get away with anything."

"It's very technical," she added. "A lot of footwork, a lot of toes, a lot of ankle situations. And we're doing it in front of the queen of rumba, so no pressure!"

Fleur and Vito are set to perform the rumba to the Sugababes 2003 hit 'Too Lost In You'. Last week, they performed their couple's choice dance to a Destiny's Child megamix and received the first 40 of the series, with Craig Revel Horwood finally making use of the number 10 paddle.

Craig said: "One word, four syllables beginning with F. Fab-u-lous!" While Shirley Ballas described the performance as an "iconic routine that will go down in history".

Meanwhile, it has been announced that former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh and her professional partner Graziano Di Prima will not be taking part in this weekend's show after the actress tested positive for Covid-19.

All being well, the couple will return to the competition on Friday, December 2 (when the live show will air a day early due to the World Cup schedule).

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
