Strictly’s Janette Manrara has said she feels “inspired” by her dance partner Will Bayley after he revealed their training sessions left his foot bleeding.

The pair are hard at work fine-tuning their routines for the BBC competition, and it seems Paralympian Bayley might have been pushing himself a little too hard.

Manrara posted a video on Instagram showing Bayley taking off his shoe to show his bloodied foot.

“I know I should be more of a supportive partner but Will just said his feet hurt and I said, 'Do you want to take your shoes off for five minutes?’” she said.

"And this is what it's like," said the professional dancer, moving the camera to show off Bayley’s blood-soaked sock.

“Will, you are bleeding! You are bleeding through your socks!” she exclaimed.

However, Bayley appeared to be unruffled, saying gleefully: “I'm a real dancer now!"

“Wow!! What a hard worker!” Manrara captioned her post on Instagram.

“Cannot believe he was pushing through w/ this!”

She also assured fans that Bayley was not badly hurt.

“Nothing serious everyone!” she said.

“Just a small scratch from his nail rubbing against his toe, but it did bleed!

“He only noticed when I suggested he could give his feet a break from his shoes!”

She went on: “I cannot say enough how impressive this mans attitude is.

“Feeling so inspired by him everyday! What a champ! Love ya @willbayleytt & thank you for working so hard!

“We’ve got this champ!!”

Bayley returned the compliments, posting a message on his own Instagram saying that Manrara was “the perfect teammate and incredibly patient and supportive”.

“Can’t wait to perform this dance with you champ,” he said.
