Strictly's JB Gill makes wife 'so proud' as she makes announcement

Strictly star JB Gill has been sent a heart warming message by his wife, Chloe Gill. The former JLS member is currently competing in Strictly Come Dancing alongside professional dancer Amy Dowden.

The pair have been the bookies favourites since before the show started and even topped the leaderboard during week one of the BBC One dance contest for their waltz to When I Need You by singer Leo Sayer. They continued their impressive performance last Saturday, September 28, when they scored 27 after a cha cha to Closer by Neyo.

Last night, JB took to Instagram and posted: ''Great day of rehearsals done. But making time for a dinner date with @Mrschloegill.'' He also posted an image of his wife holding a cocktail.

Chloe posted photos to her social media following last night, October 1, of herself in he mirror of the restaurant her and JB were at and an image of JB. She told her husband she was proud of him in a statement. She said: ''What an amazing evening with our @barbour family!

''Tonight we celebrated 30 years of the iconic Liddesdale jacket. It’s such an honour to be working with a brand we absolutely adore and I’m so proud of @jbgill designing his very own one-off Liddesdale, which will be on show at the pop-up exhibition in Covent Garden from tomorrow until the 13th October!!''

Many people took to the comments to praise Chloe's appearance including former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke who said: ''looking sensational my girl.'' Singer and presenter Rochelle Humes left a heart-eyed emoji.

Dancing star JB has been married to Chloe since 2014, after the pair met whilst Chloe was a back-up dancer for JLS. The couple have two children together, son Ace, born in 2014 and daughter Chiara born in 2018.

This Saturday, October 5, the 37-year-old singer will be dancing in Movie Week alongside Strictly dance partner Amy Dowden. They will dance to the classic Willy Wonka song Pure Imagination.
