Strictly Come Dancing star Kai Widdrington has announced an exciting new project, as he headlines his first solo tour.

Following his recent run with Nadiya Bychkova for their Behind the Magic tour, the dancer will embark on the Kai – Evolution tour across the UK and Ireland next year.

Described as “a mesmerising journey through an array of dance genres”, the show will feature “a mix of classic Ballroom, Latin, and innovative dance routines”, accompanied by visuals, choreography and a cast of dancers.

The tour will take place between May 15 and June 29, and will hit stops including London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Southampton, Cork, Belfast and Dublin. A full list of dates is listed below, with tickets on sale now.

“I'm thrilled to bring this show to life and share my love for dance with fans across the UK and Ireland” Kai said. “It has always been a dream of mine to do a nationwide solo tour and I can’t wait to make it a reality next year.

“This show will be a celebration of my love for all things music and dance, and I am extremely excited to get to share this experience with everyone both in the UK and Ireland.”

The news comes just as Nadiya has announced her own solo tour for 2025, titled A Special Evening with Nadiya Bychkova, which will see the dancer share intimate life stories as she hits stops across the UK.

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
