Strictly's Kai Widdrington shares details of new role
Strictly Come Dancing's Kai Widdrington has revealed the details of his new role.
The professional dancer, who competed with Angela Rippon in the most recent series of the BBC One competition, has been announced as a board member and ambassador for the British DanceSport Association (BDSA).
Kai shared the announcement on social media, saying that he's "delighted to be a part of the future of British ballroom and Latin dancing" in his new role as its director of engagement and education.
BDSA is a newly-established governing body for Ballroom and Latin Dancing that aims to inspire and nurture dance talent at all levels.

Kai added in an official statement: "I am excited to join this new and ambitious organisation and play my part in contributing to a positive change in the dance community.
"DanceSport already makes such a great impact on so many people's lives, encouraging them to try our fantastic sport. Dance is a passion for me, it gives me so much enjoyment and I want to help others experience the same feeling from it.
"That is why I want it be more widely available to younger people and I have always had a burning ambition for dance to be included in the national curriculum, for all children across the country to be given the opportunity to participate, just like they do with subjects such as maths and science. This will be a big driver for me in my role with the BDSA."
