'Strictly's' Neil Jones sparks Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell engagement rumours

Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones has sparked engagement rumours between Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell.

Sugg and Buswell found romance during the latest series of the BBC talent show and have been going strong ever since.

Jones, who recently addressed wife Katya’s kiss with Seann Walsh, began to hint that something was happening when he teased details of Suggs’ Instagram story with his fans and followers on Twitter.

“When my IG, Facebook and WhatsApp are all working and wow I think it’s the best content I’ve ever seen on @Joe_Sugg stories u should really check it out ohhhhh yeah right u can’t #instagramisdown,” he quipped.

As his followers asked for more information, Jones followed up his tweet with comments that pointed towards a possible engagement.

“It’s hard to understand but something about having a big surprise for @dbuzz6589 but first he needs to speak to her dad and he said something about bells,” he posted on the social media site.

Adding even more fuel to the fire, he posted hours later: “I think @Joe_Sugg might be buying some knee pads as he keeps talking about getting on one knee.”

Neither Sugg or Buswell have responded to Jones’ post.

However, Sugg appeared to share a clue that Jones was simply joking around after he told one follower that he was unwell.

“I’m alive just feeling poorly today so resting up,” he stated in response to a question about whether he was ok.

Sugg previously addressed engagement rumours in a YouTube video where he explained that it was still too early to take the next step.

“Dianne and I have only known each other for like four months. I mean she’s great and everything but I think getting engaged would just be a little OTT. Don’t panic, don’t listen to some of the stuff.”
