Yahoo News Strictly's Pete Wicks thought bottom two result was a mistake
Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks has revealed he thought show bosses had made a mistake when he was voted through on Sunday's results show.
The TOWIE star and his professional partner Jowita Przystał will dance again in this week's quarter final, after being voted through by the public for their tango performance on Saturday night.
Appearing on It Takes Two tonight (November 25), host Fleur East asked Pete how he felt about being a quarter-finalist, where he recalled his moment of confusion.
"I thought I was going [home] since week one, so every week is a surprise, but that is possibly the biggest shocker of the lot," he said.

"I didn’t really understand as we were in the last two and I thought they meant that Montell [Douglas] had gone through," he explained of his shocked face on the night.
"And then when they went red [the lighting], I was like 'Have they got that wrong? What’s going on?' Yeah, it was very weird."
Strictly dancer Jowita said that being at risk of being in the bottom two is always tough emotionally.
"It's the hardest moment of the show, of the results show, and you're till the last second left there and it's just between you and somebody else and you don’t want anybody else to go. So it’s a bittersweet moment."

Sunday's results show saw EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and his professional partner Michelle Tsiakkas sent home after going head-to-head with Gladiators star Montell Douglas and her dance partner Johannes Radebe in the dance off.
Judges voted unanimously to save Montell and Johannes, who impressed while performing their quickstep to 'Get Happy' by Ella Fitzgerald for a second time.
Pete and Jowita found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard this weekend, after receiving a total of 32 points from the judging panel.
The reality TV star took to Instagram after the results to thank fans for their votes and sending him through to next week's quarter final.
"I wish I could thank every single one of you individually," he wrote, adding of his abilities. "I'm trying my best, we all are. I'm just trying to improve and learn as I go. No one is more surprised that I'm still here than me."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
