Strictly's Pete Wicks visits Essex pub known for its 'delicious' roasts with dance partner Jowita Przytal
Due to the number of celebs that come from Essex, many pubs and restaurants have stories of seeing famous faces at their bar. This was indeed the case for one Waltham Abbey pub, which was visited by TOWIE's Pete Wicks and his Strictly Come Dancing partner Jowita Przytal last week.
The Woodbine Inn is an award winning pub located at the entrance to Epping Forest just off junction 26 of the M25 near Theydon Bois and Waltham Abbey. They pride themselves on providing a warm a friendly welcome, pub meals and scrumptious Sunday roasts - not only in the restaurant but also for takeaway and delivery.
The pub loves to champion local produce wherever possible to support other local businesses and reduce their environmental impact across both our pub meals and bar choices. Their kitchen uses freshly grown organic vegetables and herbs - some grown from their small kitchen garden - with their meats coming from a selection of local Essex farms including Great Garnets of Dunmow.

The bar has a great range of locally produced drinks, and they even have some locally produced spirits. The staff at this pub are dedicated to giving customers great pub meals and drinks in a relaxed traditional setting.
The Woodbine Inn said on Facebook: "We had the pleasure of Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal visiting our pub earlier this week. We wish you the best of luck in the rest of your Strictly journey, we are all rooting for you here at the Woodbine Inn."
It is not just celebs that love the pub, either. One local said: "We visited here after reading reviews about the Sunday roast.
"I was delighted to see when my chicken roast turned up, it came with all the trimmings, stuffing, pigs in blankets and an actual gluten free Yorkshire pudding! Not only was the food delicious, it was fantastic value with very generous portions."
