Tasha Ghouri has forced a major shake-up to the odds on who will win Strictly Come Dancing this year, after the Love Island star made a 'spectacular' debut on Saturday night. And, while the change in betting is very good news for Tasha, one of her co-stars is now being tipped to make a shock early exit.

Most famous for making the final of Love Island in 2022, the year the ITV show was won by Ekin-Su and Davide, Tasha was made one of the frontrunners to take home the Glitterball trophy as soon as she was confirmed on the Strictly 2024 line-up, with her even made the favourite at one point, before she was overtaken in the betting by JLS' JB Gill.

There has been extra attention around Tasha doing Strictly, thanks to the fact she has been paired with former champion and fan favourite Aljaz Škorjanec, as he makes a shock return to the pro line-up for this year. The couple danced for the judges scores for the first time at the weekend and, while they didn't top the leaderboard, just being pipped by JB and Amy Dowden, it's Tasha and Aljaz who are now the ones to beat in the eyes of the bookies.

They danced a cha cha cha to Sabrina Carpenter hit Espresso on Saturday, with all of the judges, particularly Shirley Ballas, full of praise for them, as she told Tasha she had the 'most spectacular' leg action.

And like Shirley, bookmakers William Hill have high hopes for Tasha, with her now 3/1 favourite, as JB slips to third in the betting and comedian Chris McCausland climbs to second on 10/3, after blowing everyone away with her performance on Saturday.

Sadly for Toyah Willcox, after her first performance didn't go too well and she and pro partner Neil Jones ended up adrift at the bottom of the leaderboard, the 80s icon, who had been championed as a 'potential dark horse' is now the 11/8 frontrunner to be kicked out in the first elimination of the new series.
