KISS Breakfast presenter Jordan Banjo has revealed who will take his place while he enjoys his paternity leave and gets ready to welcome his third child.

The radio host explained it's normally Tyler West who fills in for him and this time shouldn't be different, with the Strictly Come Dancing star expected to take over the slot.

"Of course, KISS are aware. Normally when we're off KISS Breakfast, it's our boy Tyler West who does the afternoons on KISS. Obviously, he's just done Strictly, so he's a busy guy himself, so normally he fills in for us when we're off," Banjo told The Sun.

West took part in the BBC's dancing competition with pro partner Dianne Buswell, being eliminated in week 9.

Banjo helms the breakfast show with co-host Perri Kiely. The two presenters are so close that the former joked he expects his pal to also take some time off now.

"Because me and Perri seem to do everything in life [together], when I take a bit of paternity leave I reckon Perri's gonna take it as well, like he's just had a baby," Banjo said.

"I assume it'll be Tyler, it's normally Tyler. He does an alright job, bless him, so we'll let him crack on."

In August last year, Banjo married his longtime partner Naomi Courts. The couple celebrated their big day with their loved ones, including their first two children, son Cassius and daughter Mayowa.

Their original 2021 date ended up being postponed due to the Covid pandemic. Banjo proposed in 2020 after he and Courts started dating in 2013.

KISS Breakfast airs every weekday morning from 7am on Kiss.
