Strictly's Wynne Evans breaks silence after dance-off
Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans has reflected on making it to the Blackpool special after a dance-off against eliminated contestant Shayne Ward.
The Welsh opera singer and his pro partner Katya Jones danced an American Smooth to Mika's 'Grace Kelly' and were saved by Head Judge Shirley Ballas during this past weekend's results show (November 10).
Taking to Instagram after the episode, Wynne thanked those who had voted for him and Katya and gave a shoutout to Shayne.

"What a week it's been - being in the dance off was never going to be easy but I want to say a massive thank you to every single person who votes for us to stay in the competition each week," Wynne wrote.
"I am so thankful for every week I get to take to the floor and be a part of the @bbcstrictly family - the hardest part of being in the dance off is going up against people you've become friends with. We'll miss you @shaynetward!
"I absolutely loved dancing the American Smooth this week, and it was the icing on the cake to receive a message from @mikainstagram.

"I truly am grateful that I get to dance in Blackpool next week with the amazing @katyajones! Diolch yn fawr [thank you very much] all."
The message was met with an outpouring of support from fans as well as other Strictly stars, including Katya, who commented: "We dance on," with a red heart emoji.
As for Shayne, the actor and singer called Strictly one of the "one of the best things [he's] ever done".
"I'm proud that I made it to eight weeks as a novice dancer. A massive thank you goes to this incredible human right next to me [pro partner Nancy Xu], who has put so much fire in me and made me believe that I can actually achieve more if I let myself go," he said after being voted out.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
