Strong wind and rain whipped parts of northern California on Wednesday, January 4, amid a deadly storm.

Footage captured by Gabriel Sandoval shows stormy scenes on Santa Cruz harbor on Wednesday evening.

According to the National Weather Service, more showers and thunderstorms were forecasted in the area throughout Thursday.
