Strong winds blew over a motorcyclist and sent sea waves into the air after Typhoon Lupit made landfall in southern China. The dramatic video, shot in the city of Shantou in Guangdong Provine on August 5, shows guardrails laying on the ground and a motorcyclist being blown over by a gust of wind. Further footage shows sea waves being sent into the air by the powerful winds and police officers moving a broken tree away from a road. Typhoon Lupit reportedly made landfall in the city at 11:20 on August 5 and the speed of the winds reached speeds up to 63.4mph. No casualties were reported.
