Strong Winds Send Horse Shed and SUV Tumbling in Central Oklahoma

The National Weather Service issued a high wind warning with gusts reaching up to 67mph in central Oklahoma on March 31.

Cherrie Zaidi’s home security camera captured the moment the high winds blew over a horse shed and flipped her SUV in Piedmont, Oklahoma.

“The barn and the SUV are laying in my yard now,” she said, adding that she also saw her trampoline rolling before landing on a fence post. “It was crazy.”

The NWS urged residents to secure property that could be damaged or blown around by strong winds, and warned to avoid anything that may “start a fire ignition,” as they also warned of a wildfire outbreak in the area. Credit: Cherrie Zaidi via Storyful
