Strong Winds From Tropical Storm Nicholas Blow Near Texas Coast

Tropical Storm Nicholas brought strong winds to the Texas coastline on September 14, after making landfall as a hurricane earlier in the day.

The National Weather Service reported Nicholas will gradually weaken as it moves northeast during the afternoon of September 14, with tropical-storm-level winds – mostly over coastal waters – extending up to 140 miles from the center of the storm.
