Structures Destroyed as Wildfire Grows to 1200 Acres in Southern California

Around 500 people were evacuated after a wildfire broke out in southern California and reportedly destroyed structures on May 1.

Three structures were destroyed as the so-called Southern Fire grew to 1,200 acres, according to CAL FIRE. The fire had a “critical” rate of spread, according to firefighting authorities.
