Students in northern China unwind between classes by performing Mongolian dance

These students from a school in northern China unwind between classes by performing a Mongolian dance. Filmed in the Badalhu Central School in Xingan League in Inner Mongolia, the video showed that the students in Mongolian clothes performing the synchronised routine. According to their teacher, the school arranged the dance sessions to help students relax during their afternoon break. The teacher said Mongolian dance had a long history in the region and was part of the students' cultural heritage. The majority of the population of Inner Mongolia are Han Chinese but a sizeable minority of 5,000,000 are Mongol. In fact, more ethnic Mongols live in Inner Mongolia than in the country of Mongolia. The video was filmed on December 24 and provided by local media with permission.
