"Today, I'm at Elvington Airfield, at the Straightliners World Wheelie weekend and the organizer, Trevor Duckworth, has kindly agreed to let us attempt to break the world record for the fastest 'highchair wheelie'. And a 'highchair wheelie,' for those of you who don't know, is when I sit on the tank with both legs over the handlebars. And I'll be doing that on my K3 GSXR 1000. I'll run through some of the modifications that I do for it; straight bars, removed all the fairings, a hand-operated break, and a hand-operated electronic shift unit which allows us to shift gears without my foot on the footrest. Other than that, the bike is completely stock. Stock engine, stock power."

STORY: British stunt rider Jonny Davies popped a massive 'highchair wheelie' while going an astonishing 175.785 kph / 109.228 mph for at least 200 metres (656 feet) to set a new world record for the fastest 'highchair wheelie'.

Davies completed the feat over two days (August 15 and 16) at North Yorkshire's Elvington Airfield during the Straightliner's World Wheelie Records.

The record was set under the auspices of the UK Timing Association and organizers will be submitting Davies' run to Guinness World Records for ratification.

If accepted, Davies' record run will beat the current record held by Enda Wright of Ireland by just 1 mph. Set in 2008, Wright's current record is 108 mph or 173 kph over 200 meters, the distance required by Guinness for ratification.
