Nicola Sturgeon says the UK Government needs to “rethink” the whole mini-budget, which was announced last month. Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng has announced the reversal of the 45p tax rate cut for earnings over £150,000. Scotland’s first minister added that the Westminster government “appears to be more interested in ideological posturing than it is in the health and the wellbeing and the financial security of people across the country.”.
