Styles And Becks Top Instagram UK Accounts

Instagram is five years old today and has revealed the most-followed UK accounts to celebrate.

More than 40 billion photos have been shared on the site with One Direction singer Harry Styles the most popular in the UK with 13 million followers.

David Beckham is also in the top five after he joined this year to mark his 40th birthday.

The former England captain was the fastest person to reach one million followers, hitting the number in just one day.

Others in the top five include Niall Horan, Real Madrid and Wales footballer Gareth Bale, and an account belonging to @fakeliampayne.

The photo-sharing social media site sees more than 80 million uploads a day, and 3.5 billion likes every day.
