The subtle Strictly Come Dancing clue that is already hinting at who will win BBC series this year
Strictly Come Dancing has waltzed, tangoed and fox trotted back onto our TV screens with a host of new contestants. Viewers will already be placing their bets and trying to guess who could be leaving with the Glitterball trophy this year.
Strictly started on Saturday, September 14 and has some big names involved this year. From The Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks, to Miranda actress Sarah Hadland, thereâs a real array of contestants to get behind.
But the show has made headlines for other reasons this year. Strictly 2024 has seen the first blind contestant to ever take part in the dance show.

Blind British comedian and actor Chris McCausland has been in a number of recognisable TV shows such as Channel 4âs So You Think You're Funny? and BBC âs Would I Lie to You?.
Every year people love to guess who might win the show, with some people even placing real bets. But thereâs one subtle clue which gives viewers a hint at who could be crowned winner this year.
After each show Strictly uploads videos of each contestant's dance onto their YouTube channel. People whoâve missed the show can catch up, or those wanting to watch their favourites again can grab a second glimpse. But one contestant has regularly had far more views on his videos than the rest.
Chris McCausland and partner Dianne Buswell have 328,000 views on their energetic Cha Cha Cha to the Beatlesâ Twist and Shout from September 21. Similarly, their Foxtrot to the Tamsâ Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy has already gained 90,000 views in just 19 hours.
In comparison, the videos of other contestantâs dances from yesterday range from 9,500 views to 44,000 views, and from the previous week from 37,000 to 163,000 views. In both weeks Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec have had the second highest number of views.
Results for this week's dances will be aired tonight on BBC One at 7.15pm. The finale is scheduled to be aired on Saturday, December 14.
