Succession star Alan Ruck has revealed shooting is about to start on season 3 of the HBO series.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actor, who plays the delusional Connor Roy, shared that filming will begin in New York this month.
"We're going to start in New York right around the middle of November," he said.
This positive update comes after Brian Cox, who plays Logan Roy on the show, previously suggested that November could have been an optimistic target.
"We have to be careful due to the obvious [COVID-19]," he told The Big Issue back in September. "HBO wants to protect that show because it's a key show for them.
"People have been really been watching it quite obsessively, sometimes two or three times over. So they're very protective of us and we have to get all the protocols right. We've got our own medical department dealing with the COVID thing."
He added: "We'll get going, but not until maybe November at the soonest, maybe even not until the beginning of next year."
The satirical comedy-drama, which won Outstanding Drama Series at this year's Emmy Awards, follows the Roy family, controllers of the biggest media and entertainment company in the world.
However, when Logan decides to step down from his position and appoint a new head of the company, backstabbing chaos ensues among his vying offspring.
Succession airs on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.
