Sugababes announce first UK headline tour in 20 years with original line-up

The reformed original line-up of the Sugababes has announced their first UK headline tour in more than two decades.

The trio - which comprises of Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan - will kick off their 17-date tour in Bristol on October 16 before performing in cities including Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and Cardiff.

They will also make a stop at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on November 2 and round off with a gig at Glasgow’s o2 Academy on November 7.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on July 1.

Sharing the tour dates on Instagram, the band said: “We’re so excited to come full circle and announce our own headline UK tour.

“We’ll be hitting the road in October and November – can’t wait to see you all there.”

The Round Round hit-makers announced they were reforming earlier this year to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album One Touch.

Since then, they headlined London’s Mighty Hoopla festival earlier this month.

This weekend they are set for a highly anticipated appearance at Glastonbury Festival.

They are due to play The Avalon Stage on Friday night before headliners Reef who are replacing The Damned after they were forced to pull out of the festival due to Covid-19.

Sugababes will also be putting out new music in the shape of an expanded re-issue of One Touch in October.

It will feature demos, rarities and re-workings from the likes of Blood Orange (aka Dev Hynes) and Metronomy, plus, a dance remix by MNEK of their 2001 single Run For Cover.
