You may have spent most, if not all, of lockdown going make-up-free with a low maintenance approach to your beauty routine.

The latest easing of lockdown restrictions means beauty counters and stores are now open, with strict social distancing measures in place. This is thanks to new government guidelines, which allowed non-essential retailers to reopen on 15 June in England. Wales followed suit and allowed shops to reopen on 22 June, with Scotland doing the same today on 29 June.

However, as spending on the high street has plummeted, many beauty retailers and brands are currently offering sales, discounts and deals galore both in store and online, across everything from shampoo to mascara.

B2B magazine Drapers reported in-store sales have dropped 84 per cent compared to 2019, and – despite online grocery sales surging – for the rest of the retail landscape things look bleak.

To ensure you don’t miss out on the many bargains available still to shop from your sofa, we’ve compiled the best of the bunch.

Whether you’re after a top-up of your favourite foundation or want to try out a new face mask for some much-needed TLC, these are the best beauty deals to shop now.

You can trust our independent round-ups. We may earn commission from some of the retailers, but we never allow this to influence selections. This revenue helps us to fund journalism across The Independent.
