“Summer House”'s Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Say New Season Will Feature Show's First Threesome: 'Not Us!' (Exclusive)
Summers are supposed to be triple the fun, apparently...
The Summer House is getting steamy this season!
In a chat with PEOPLE from Bravo Fan Fest 2024 in Miami, stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula teased that the upcoming season of their hit Bravo show will feature something viewers haven't seen before.
"We had our first threesome!" Cooke, 42, said, prompting Batula to quickly insist Cooke was talking about the show, not them personally.
"Not us! Not us!," Batula noted. "I did my fair share of sex on camera my first summer and I am done. I said if I'm going to have sex on camera, I'm going to make you pay for it on OnlyFans. I'm not putting it out there for free."
"Yeah, we paid our dues. We're done," said Cooke. "But yeah... Summer House had our first threesome."
Batula, 33, went on to urge Cooke to stay mum on who it was. "Don't give it away," she told him, to which Cooke replied, "No one knows who, so there you go."
"It wasn't us," Batula added again. "We had a fun summer. Everyone else had their own kind of fun this summer."
No release date as been announced for season 9 of Summer House, but the show will feature returning stars Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, West Wilson, Jesse Solomon and Gabby Prescod. A handful of newbies have also been seen around filming, though their names haven't been confirmed.
Attendees at Bravo Fan Fest 2024 did catch a preview of one scene from the new season, which featured the whole cast including Radke and Hubbard.
Filming with the the two, after their headline-making breakup, went much smoother than fans might think. "I'm really proud of them and how they were mostly able to take the high road," Batula said. "They knew that they were signing up to co-exist under the same roof and they really embraced that."
"It's really nice to see them in that good place," said Cooke. "I wouldn't wish what they went through on anyone. I can't even imagine, and we were pretty close to it. So props to them to coming out the other end."

It helped, of course, that both are in wildly different places in their life — Hubbard getting ready to welcome her first baby with her new boyfriend and Radke about to birth a new addition of his own: a non-alcoholic bar.
"It's quite interesting what different paths they're both on, but they both seem really, really happy," said Batula. "Lindsay got the family that she wanted and the guy that she really wanted, and Carl got the sober bar idea — which is so awesome — that he wanted. So they're in the same place emotionally and fulfilled with what they're doing right now."
Summer House can be streamed on Peacock.
