A Minnesota resident captured a wintry wonderland at Lake Superior near Grand Portage, Minnesota, on February 17, after almost half the lake froze, news reports said.
This footage, by Carol Bauer, shows sun shining as snow coats the edge of the lake.
“Our first time near Lake Superior in the winter and the scenery did not disappoint,” Bauer said on Facebook.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said that by February 14, 46 percent of Lake Superior was covered in ice after sub-zero temperatures hit the Great Lakes region. Credit: Carol Bauer via Storyful
