Sunday Brunch viewers 'boycott' over show guest and say 'oh no not her'
Channel 4 Sunday Brunch fans have TUNED OUT of the show over a line up which they have branded "p*** poor". Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were back on the Channel 4 show on Sunday September 29, with it airing from 9.30am.
But the line up sparked controversy as fans criticised who the celebrity guests were. The episode synopsis explained: "Amid the food preparation, presenters Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer chat to Alexandra Roach about the new BBC drama NIghtsleeper.
"Pop icon Lulu talks about her new live tour, actor Chris Chung chats about the latest series of Apple TV+ hit Slow Horses and Craig David gives the lowdown on his new music. Plus, indie duo Wings of Desire perform live."

But the line up did little to please fans, with one fuming: "Lulu & Craig David are the guests on #sundaybrunch today so I'm giving it a miss." A second fumed: "Good luck keeping Lulu's gob shut #sundaybrunch." Another said: "Good luck to all the other guests getting a word in when centre of attention Lulu is also on #SundayBrunch "
"Which is the deal breaker?" asked another, when a fan commented how they were going to "give up" and tune out. "Lulu," they sniped in response. Another said: "What an absolutely p***-poor lineup today. #SundayBrunch ", in response to the episode beginning.
Another said: " #sundaybrunch @sundaybrunch Lulu is the only one I have heard of and they had better let her shout." Another fumed: "Bloody Lulu." And another said: "Oh f*** off." And another wrote on Twitter, now X: "Oh no not her."
Each and every Sunday morning, on Channel 4 and All 4, Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer host the food and chat show, with guests, cookery and music. Sunday Brunch airs on Channel 4 HD at 9:30 AM, Sunday 29 September.
