Sunday Brunch fell foul to a very NSFW subtitles mistake during yesterday's (June 13) show.

Usually, the opening theme tune music sings: "The sun comes up. I fill my cup. I'm waking up to Sunday Brunch," but this wasn't what appeared on screen if you happened to be utilising the subtitle option.

Viewers were instead greeted with: "The sun comes up. I feel my cock. I'm waking up to Sunday Brunch."

As ever, fans of the Channel 4 weekend favourite were quick to react to the blunder, with one tweeting: "@SundayBrunchC4 The subtitles to the theme tune mix first thing! On a Sunday morning! Even I was shocked! Someone havin a laugh?"

"When teletext goes wrong in an amusing way. This morning @SundayBrunchC4 fell victim! #TeletextFail #SundayBrunch," pointed out someone else.

Sunday Brunch isn't unfamiliar with on-screen hiccups, either, as just last year co-presenter Tim Lovejoy took an enormous tumble live on-air.

Whilst introducing the show, Tim decided to dance, but this immediately backfired as he tripped and fell over against the studio wall.

Due to social distancing, the poor guy had to scramble back up himself with colleague Simon Rimmer laughing from two metres away: "I can't even help you up!"

Sunday Brunch airs every Sunday on Channel 4.
