Now, a four-part documentary called The Super Models brings the foursome together for a series of in-depth interviews and archival looks into their careers and rise to stardom. Premiering Wednesday on Apple TV+, the new docuseries also sees the Supers sharing personal stories on their rocky road to the top of fashion, while they talk about the positive changes they hope to make for future generations of models.

“I was not seen as a person who had a voice in her own destiny,” Crawford says in The Super Models trailer. Campbell also reveals how brands would pick her for runway shows, but not for their magazine covers or commercials, “I wasn’t going to be bullied for the color of my skin,” she says.
Meanwhile, the moment the quartet became an active participant in their own careers was when recording artist George Michael asked them to be part of his music video for “Freedom! ’90.” Its popularity enabled them to call the shots in their work.
Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winner Roger Ross Williams and Larissa Bills directed all four episodes of The Super Models with Brian Grazer and Ron Howard serving as executive producers. It also features interviews from Marc Jacobs, Edward Enninful, OBE, Donna Karan, Isaac Mizrahi and more.
