Aerial firefighting craft dropped water on the Dixie Fire in Northern California, as authorities attempted to continue containing the wildfire on September 8.

The blaze was 922,507 acres in size and an estimated 59 percent contained, according to firefighting authorities.

“While assigned to the Dixie Fire, Dozer 23 got a little air support from a pair of super scooper aircraft. The Dozer is building lines around the fire perimeter,” the Santa Barbara County Fire Department wrote in a Facebook post with this video.
