Super-strong ant shows its power by lifting body of creature twice its size

This defi-ant insect showed off its strength by lifting the body of a creature twice its size.

The strong ant was spotted on camera lifting a cicada's skin over its head in an incredibly eye-catching display of power.

Agus Wahyudi, 24, took these pictures during a macro-photography shoot in the Kalimantan rice fields in Indonesia.

He said: 'I first noticed the amazing ants when I was on my morning walk.

'I looked down and saw that this ant had a huge insect on his back and was lifting like it was not a problem at all.

'I was so happy that I had my camera with me so I could capture that moment.

'I took this photo for 3 hours in the afternoon.

'It takes so long to get the shot as ants are so quick and you have to be so patient and quiet with your camera. I feel like I am the real life 'ant man.

'These images show the power of insects. It just shows that no matter how small you are, with the right attitude you can achieve anything.

'You can apply this to everyday life too, if you put your mind to something for long enough and you are dedicated then you can do it.'
