Supergirl and The Flash turn The CW into their own personal La La Land in the first teaser for their musical crossover.

The overlords of DC TV have finally given us our first official look at the all-singing, all-dancing two-part storyline coming up later this month - and, we must admit, Kara and Barry even rival the cast of Hamilton!

The Flash's half 'Duet' looks every bit the classic musical in the style of Chicago or Cabaret, complete with World War II-era fashion, jazz hands and Kara crooning as a lounge act.

Who's responsible for this strange new world? That would be the cunning Music Meister (Darren Criss), who can reshape reality for his victims with his dangerous tune.

The Music Meister's power begs an interesting question - has he locked both The Flash and Supergirl into some kind of musical fantasy while he wreaks havoc on the real world?

Expect the singing to be on-point whatever the reality, since Darren Criss, Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin all previously starred in the classic musical dramedy Glee.

All of this singing and dancing is apparently only a preview of what's to come in the DC TV universe, since plans are already underway to do another huge week-long crossover of Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow this autumn.

For now, you can catch Supergirl and The Flash's two-night musical extravaganza on Monday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 21, both on The CW in the US. Sky1 airs both shows in the UK.
