Supergirl star Melissa Benoist has announced her engagement to former castmate Chris Wood.
The actress took to Instagram to share the happy news on Sunday (February 10),
"Yes yes yes it will always be yes," she captioned the adorable photo, in which she showed off her massive ring.
Melissa and Chris met on the CW show when they played on-screen lovers Kara Danvers and Mon-El in 2016.
Melissa was previously married to former Glee star Blake Jenner, but they finalised their divorce in December 2016.
Supergirl has also been renewed for season five and we can almost guarantee it'll air in October 2019, along with a whole load of other awesome shows (including Arrow, The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow).
Every single series of Supergirl has followed the same pattern, and we can't see any real reason for five to deviate, unless season four sees Kara reversing the orbit of planet Earth and it broadcasts in October 1920.
But we're pretty sure that won't happen. Almost certain. In fact, you can quote us in The Daily Planet on that.
With season four still on the air, it's difficult to predict exactly how season five might unfold, but the next big Arrowverse crossover - 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' - is certain to make a big impact on Kara's adventures.
In the original comic storyline, Kara *gulp* died... so is the Girl of Steel not long for this world?
