SUPERMARKET giant Aldi is giving its staff in Worcester another pay rise.

The supermarket giant has maintained its position as the UK's best-paying supermarket by raising its starting pay for store assistants in Worcester to a minimum of £11.40 per hour.

The new starting rate will be effective from Saturday, July 1 and the pay rise is more than 13 per cent higher than it was a year ago, representing an investment of more than £100 million in colleague pay in the last 12 months.
