A SUPERNATURAL stage show bursting with satirical 90s pop-culture references will delve into all seven seasons of a hit series in just 70 minutes.

Buffy Revamped, written and performed by Brendan Murphy, will appear for one night only at the Mercury Theatre, in Balkerne Gate, on April 13.

During the fast-paced production the audience will be taken on a journey through the entire 144 episodes of hit TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The story will be told through the eyes of main character Spike, originally played by James Marsters in the long-running fantasy series.

Speaking about the show Brendan said: “Buffy fans are some of the smartest, funniest and kindest audiences you could ever hope to have at a show.

“I can't wait to bring this celebration of all things Buffy The Vampire Slayer to the Scoobs & Slayers lying in wait across the UK and Ireland.”

The performance in Colchester follows a critically-acclaimed season at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

It also comes hot on the heels of Brendan’s last show, Friend (The One with Gunther), which recently won the award for Best Play at the World Wide Comedy Awards.

Tickets for the 8pm show cost between £21.50 and £26.50 and can be purchased by visiting mercurytheatre.co.uk.
