The Cloud9 store had shut down, becoming Ozark Highlands' Zephra fulfillment center.

Dina was hired to manage it, taking Sandra with her as her assistant, and Marcus and Justine as warehouse workers.

Glenn also decided to reopen his dad's hardware store, and hired Cheyenne and Mateo, who had been worried about finding a new role as an undocumented immigrant.

America Ferrera's character Amy Sosa also returned for the season finale to try and stop the store being shut down.

After a number of awkward encounters with her ex-fiancé Jonah Simms, she apologised to him about how she ended things, and eventually the pair shared a kiss.

A sweet flashforward scene showed the couple had married and had a son of their own, Carter.

Amy had also left her corporate job at Zephra, finding a new executive role, while Jonah was running for council.

The flashforward also dropped small hints at the other characters' future, including Amy's daughter Emma wearing an university t-shirt, and Mateo and Eric showing their wedding rings.
