Many of us will have noticed that as soon as September 1 rolled around this year, temperatures dropped, evenings seemed darker and leaves began littering the floor. No one wants to see the back of what felt like a very short and sweet summer, but it does mean that spooky season is making a comeback.

Halloween really isn’t too far away and before we know it, pumpkins will be outside front doors.

Pumpkins are readily available at most supermarkets, but visiting the garden centre or pumpkin patch and picking out a pumpkin specifically is all part of the fun. Some farms even have Halloween festivals and activities to get stuck in with that both adults and children will love.

If you’re looking for something fun to do to celebrate Halloween this autumn, SurreyLive has compiled a list of some favourite spots to visit. But if you’re thinking of attending any of these events, make sure you book in advance as some can get fully booked very quickly.
