ITV2's latest reality show Survival of the Fittest shook up the rules tonight and saw two of the Girls' team go head-to-head in a Survival Challenge.

The task saw Georgia Cole and Lottie James pitted against each other, but as only the winner was allowed to return to The Lodge, that meant Lottie was sent packing after losing the Challenge – but she's confident the whole experience has made her a stronger person.

"Looking back on my time in The Lodge, I feel so lucky to have been there and had that experience," Lottie said after her elimination tonight (February 19).

"Obviously I had some ups and downs. When I was down, I was very down. When I was up, I was very up. I think the challenges were harder than I expected. It was all a massive learning curve and looking back, I know it's going to make me a stronger person."

It's also a learning curve she wants the Girls team to make after they were left rocked by Georgie's departure and some of the girls' game-playing – especially Georgia's.

"I feel like when Georgie left, a lot of tension left too," Lottie added. "I feel like the group started to bond better. But then I did hear from the Boys that Georgia was also saying things about me.

"I think if the Girls are going to get on, they need to be strong no matter if they win or lose. I feel like hopefully this experience has taught Georgia to use her heart a little bit more rather than her head.

"She needs to have a bit more emotion and care about other people's feelings before her own. If that happens, and the new Replacement is like Sam, then they are sorted and will be great."

All in all though, Lottie has very few regrets about her time on the show, adding that she only wishes she'd opened up a bit more.

"I do regret crying a lot," she said. "I regret not opening up as much as maybe I should have. I did try my best on the challenges.

"I hope my legacy will be that people could see the true me and learn that it's okay to be upset and to keep your head held high. I don't agree with being nasty, I don't agree with confrontation but I do agree with speaking your mind and how you feel, taking into account other people's feelings. I just hope I've taught a few girls some lessons."

Survival of the Fittest continues on ITV2 tomorrow night (February 20) at 9pm.
